Michael A. Choukas

Mr. Michael A. Choukas is currently Chief Executive Officer of Vector Oncology. He was a Partner at The Watermill Group.  Michael has over 30 years’ experience in executive leadership and has been a strategic innovator in the clinical research healthcare industry for over 15 years.  

Previously, Mr. Choukas served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Oncopartners, which he founded in 2006.  Prior to his work with Oncopartners, Mr. Choukas was a member of the leadership team for United Biosource Corporation (UBC), where he served as the Executive Chairman of the Late Stage Group and Executive Vice President of Strategy and Operations from 2004 to 2006.  In 1996, Mr. Choukas founded Scirex Corporation where he served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from 1996 to 2003.  Mr. Choukas previously held senior leadership positions as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Springborn Laboratories, Executive Vice President of Dun and Bradstreet Software and Services, and as a Partner at Bain & Company, where he contributed to the leadership of Bain’s software and mergers and acquisitions practice areas.

Mr. Choukas began his career serving on the staff of the US Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works and then as Legislative Director for US Senator Patrick Leahy. He has been an Executive Chairman of B&B Clinical Innovations, Inc. since October 2004.  He served as a Director of Specialized Technology Resources, Inc. until June 15, 2007.  Mr. Choukas currently serves as a Chairman of Board of Trustees for Vermont Academy and as a memb
